Consultant Nurse – Emergency Care and Minor Injury Services


Are you an inspiring and high performing senior nurse committed to improving the quality of care experienced by people accessing emergency services?


A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Nurse to work across our Minor Injuries Services and major Emergency Department within the University Health Board.


You will need to be an established advanced nurse practitioner with advanced clinical knowledge particularly in the management of patients presenting with minor injuries.


A significant element of the role will be developing advanced practice in emergency care and ensuring robust clinical governance frameworks for autonomous practice across the minor injury services.


The successful applicant will:


    • Have a vision for the development of autonomous practice


    • Have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care and be a good role model in reflecting the health board core Values


    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be focused and well organised
