The 2gether Staff Bank is committed to providing a highly skilled and motivated temporary workforce to meet the ongoing needs from across the Trust. By working in close partnership with the Locality Areas the Staff Bank offers continuity, reliability and the expertise to effectively provide resources to enable the service areas to uphold standards in clinical care.

The Trust Staff Bank is now seeking to employ experienced, keen, and well-motivated Band 5 registered nurses (RNMH and RNLD) to work across all of the 2gether Trust, including Gloucestershire and / or Herefordshire. Currently we have bank work available in our inpatient facilities and community work (across all professions and clinical specialties).

The Staff Bank can offer a variety of working hours to staff, and therefore these bank contracts will be suitable to those people who need some flexibility. Suitable candidates will be required to be flexible and able to work at short notice to include unsocial hours, weekends and night shifts.

At Staff Bank we offer comprehensive induction and training packages, annual mandatory updates, access to the NHS Pension & monthly pay. There is a requirement that you will be able to work a minimum of 24 shifts per year and to maintain all statutory and mandatory training requirements.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory trainingand post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.

Applicants should note that all appointments to 2gether NHS Foundation Trust (excluding Medical Staffing appointments) are subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probation period.

Please be aware that all employees of the Trust who need to have a DBS check in order to carry out their role, will be required to repay the cost, which is currently £50 for an enhanced check or £32 for a standard check.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered. Any request will be set against genuine operational requirements and limitations and it is not obligatory for a manager to accede to the request.

As part of the Trust requirement to practice safely all internal applicants, including bank staff, are required to be up to date with statutory and mandatory training, or have booked dates for expired training.

For positions Band 8a and above there is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota to ensure a high quality of care for patients at all times and continued support to all staff with access to the right knowledge and expertise.
