For over four decades Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity have provided outstanding palliative care to its community and its services have made a huge impact on many families lives across Hampshire.

The journey towards end of life can be a complex one. Medical advances and changes in family lives mean that the care we provide to our patients and their families constantly evolves to meet the needs and expectations of our Community. For us to extend our services further to reach more people we need to recruit additional staff to support our outstanding services, here at the Hospice.

General Manager

Salary Circa £49,900 per annum

37.5 Hours per week (including weekend, bank holiday, nights and on-call provisions, etc)

We are looking for a proactive, organised and experienced manager and leader who can work with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to help us transform Countess Mountbatten Hospice from a NHS Hospice to an independent charity at the leading edge of hospice care.

You will oversee the day to day operational and project management to ensure the safe and effective delivery of quality services to patients, their families, carers and visitors.

Work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement services to ensure Countess Mountbatten Hospice continues to meet the needs of all users and stakeholders, including all clinical areas.
