The Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit two enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join its perfusion team. The perfusion department performs 350-400 paediatric perfusions per year with a variety of congenital heart defects.

There is a Hypo plastic Left Heart programme and complex Pulmonary Atresia’s providing a large variety of challenging procedures. The department also provides perfusion support for the ECMO service. Paediatric experience is not essential as training will be given.

This is an excellent opportunity for a perfusionist to expand their skills in an exciting and challenging surgical environment.

These individuals must be fully accredited with registration of the Society of Clinical Perfusionists of GB and Ireland.
