School Nurse (Band 6) School Nursing– LB Hounslow

 

There is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and innovative SCPHN School nurse to join our friendly, supportive 0-19 team in West London.

 

 

 

We work with families in one of the most diverse boroughs in London to give children the best possible start in life by providing the most up-to-date evidence based support.

 

 

 

You will lead the delivery of the national 5-19 years Healthy Child programme across Hounslow with a skill mix team, working closely with partners, such as Schools, GPs, and social care providing seamless care to the children of Hounslow. You’ll also have an important role in recognising and protecting vulnerable children.

 

 

 

In return, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive package of training and professional development, including regular supervision, weekly practice development sessions, and training in Lancaster Model and TLM, an on-line screening assessment tool delivered universally as part of Healthy child programme.

 

 

 

We also provide corporate leadership and mentorship training as well as an excellent preceptorship package for all newly qualified nurses. We are happy to fund your DBS check as part of our recruitment process
