We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Apprenticeship Assessor to join our new Apprenticeship Centre at Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As demand for our Apprenticeship programme grows, this is your chance to join a Regionally Commended Apprenticeship Organisation, which is passionate about developing people.

We are seeking a Healthcare Apprenticeship Assessor who is occupationally qualified in healthcare. You will be involved in the design and delivery of ‘off the job’ training and the development of programmes which align to the new occupational standards. The role will support the development of learning and training, whilst ensuring adequate progression, achievement and high standards are maintained throughout delivery. Our Apprentices will be working towards the new Level 2 & 3 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Standards, featuring an attached relevant qualification.

As a new Apprenticeship Centre, you will be joining a growing team responsible for delivering, monitoring and maintaining high standard, quality training to our employees. There is flexibility around the working hours and more hours will become available as our apprenticeship numbers increase. As a keen learner yourself, you will be encouraged to continuously develop your skills and apply these within engaging and interactive learning environments.

If you are hardworking, share our passion for apprenticeships and have a proven track record of delivering apprenticeship training then we want to hear from you. It is essential applicants have significant recent occupationally relevant experience in their field holding a minimum of a level 3 qualification and hold an assessor qualification (for example TAQA, D32/33, A1/A2).

**If the position being applied for requires a DBS check to be undertaken on you, it will be a condition of your employment that you have subscribed and continue to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. New employees to the Trust are required to pay the fee for the initial DBS check (this will be deducted from their first months’ salary) and the annual subscription (£13) to the DBS Update Service. The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
