The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) is a prestigious partnership between universities and the NHS to improve patient outcomes through high-quality research. The older people's theme for the Yorkshire and Humber CLAHRC2 research programme, entitled ‘Primary Care-Based Management of Frailty in Older People’ is focused on frailty, and aims to improve the health and quality of life for frail older people by developing a more primary care based approach to care.

The post holder will work closely with senior members of the research team to contribute to the delivery of this work within the research programme. You will be responsible for recruitment of participants, data collection, and may contribute in the writing of academic papers and reporting research results. This involves recruiting frail older people, their families and staff. Travel to other sites and homes will be required.

Other responsibilities include literature searching, data management and analysis and providing regular progress reports.
