Blackthorn Health Centre, a semi-rural Practice on the Hamble Peninsula, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Nurse to join their dynamic Nursing team. The Practice is a busy, friendly, training practice serving 12,500 patients.We are a large, modern purpose built premises which also incorporates supporting community teams.

The applicant will be able to demonstrate continued personal development, highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently. You will be delivering a full range of treatment room health care including wound care management, immunisations, family planning, cervical cytology and ear care. Chronic disease management would be preferred although not essential as training will be provided. This post would equally suit an experienced Practice Nurse or for a registered Nurse looking to develop in a new role in this specialty, training will be fully supported.

The applicant will need to be flexible and able to do additional hours to cover clinics for holiday and sickness.

Informal visits welcomed.

Hours per week- 20 to 37.5
