Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is one of the biggest Mental Health and Community NHS Foundation Trusts in the country, we are newly merged organisation previously known as 'SEPT' and 'NEP' and have just achieved a 'Good' CQC rating supporting all of the hard work and achievements our EPUT staff had made since the merger. We provide community services across South East Essex, West Essex, Bedfordshire and Luton. We also provide integrated care including mental health, learning disability, and social care to culturally and economically diverse communities across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospital and community based premises. We have many modern community based resource centres and community facilities to provide local services to local people where possible.

Unlike acute hospital services, Community Health Services, mental health and learning disability services are mainly provided in community settings with defined geographical localities. As a result we operate from various locations across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk

Holly Wheelchair Service provides a high quality posture management and mobility service to the people of West Essex from our base in Bishiop's Stortford. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with previous Wheelchair Service experience to join our small dedicated team.This is an innovative new post with the option of some home working if desired. Thejob will be mainly involvescreening of the more complex referrals, liaising with clients, carers and HCPs by phone to gather further information, evaluating the information to decide on the appropriate pathway for the client. Some clinical cover and attendanceat monthly team meetings will be required.

The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, enthusiastic therapist with excellent communication skills. You must be able to work autonomously whilst being an active member of the team.The service is largely paper free so good IT skills are essential. Previous experience using SystmOne would be beneficial but training will be given.
