THIS POST IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 12 MONTHS TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dedicated and enthusiastic individual/s to join the Dermatology Booking Team, as a Health Records Clerk, on a one year fixed term basis. The post is full time (37.5 hours) and we are willing to consider part-time applicants. The successful candidate/s will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail.

This role will support the dermatology inpatient and outpatient scheduling team based at St Woolos Hospital, Newport. The successful candidate will have the ability to work and problem solve under pressure and be able to demonstrate a commitment to achieving high quality standards of work and be flexible to the needs of the service.

It is essential that the successful candidate/s have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the post holder will be required to liaise with patients and staff. Good keyboard skills are essential and training will be provided for the use of hospital information systems.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
