Cwm Taf Local Health Board is seeking an ICT Communications Manager, on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful applicant will work as part of a communications team responsible for Voice and Data communications throughout all areas of the Board.

As part of a busy team, main responsibilities of this post include maintenance and operation of the data and voice networks across Cwm Taf, with an emphasis on Cisco and Mitel technology, and providing a high level of support to data and voice users, including installation and maintenance of various data and voice technologies and providing support through the ‘service desk’ function.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, preferably in a computer science subject, or have appropriate, equivalent, relevant, experience. Previous experience with Windows 7 and above, as well as practical experience in setting up computers and peripheral equipment, is essential. Experience within an NHS environment would be advantageous. Good communication skills are essential.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
