Hywel Dda University Health Board has an exciting Opportunity for a motivated, driven and passionate Physiotherapist in Amman Gwendraeth Community Resource Team, Carmarthenshire.

This is a permanent Band 6 role supported and working closely with a team of Physiotherapists and Support staff and other MDT members from health, local authority and 3rd sector. The role will include the delivery of rehabilitation to a range of patients in their place of residence, including their own home, residential homes, and Amman Valley Hospital which is a rehabilitation cottage hospital. You will be expected to deliver rehabilitation to adults with a range of conditions including, neurological, respiratory, muskulo-skeletal and frailty in their place of residence. There is also the opportunity to run neuro-outpatient clinics and neuro hydrotherapy sessions with good support from the specialist neuro team

You will also have the opportunity to drive forward and implement new ways of working in order to strengthen the acute/community pathway. There are further developments within Hywel Dda University Health Board such as Transforming Clinical services and A regional collaboration for health which will provide further opportunities for service and self development within the Health Board.

The University Health Board proactively supports post graduate training and also other forms of internal /external CPD
