An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Nursing team on Ward 11, Withybush General Hospital Haverfordwest. As a Staff Nurse you will join our Acute Stroke & Rehabilitation ward which consists of 4 bedded Acute stroke unit, and 14 rehabilitation beds.

You will be part of an upbeat and dynamic team bringing energy and a strong focus on multidisciplinary teamwork in supporting stroke patients.

Your career will benefit from the utilisation of your skills in Acute stroke & rehabilitation, complex discharge planning, end of life care and it is a varied and diverse role with many transferrable skills.


If you encompass the 6Cs, are well organised and willing to rise to any challenge and keep a smile on your face then come and meet us.

You will receive an annual Individual Performance Review by your line manager to help facilitate your development.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse who will work as part of a team.

Experience of multidisciplinary working is an advantage but training and guidance will be given on the ward. Upholding the principles of the Fundamentals of Care in meeting patient’s care needs is essential to this post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
