THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious Office Manager to join the Aneurin Bevan Continuous Improvement (ABCi) department, to co-ordinate the day to day administration support and function for ABCi and manage a small admin team.

Since 2013, ABCi has been the established Quality Improvement function in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) and supports the organisation in developing improvement capability and delivering structured improvement programmes, as well as creating space for innovation, particularly in complex environments.

In an exciting development, ABCI is currently engaged in a limited expansion of specialist roles and functions intended to help ABUHB to meet the challenges of delivering healthcare in the 21st century. This post forms part of that initiative.

The post holder will provide a confidential, comprehensive and efficient administrative service, undertaking a wide and varied range of administrative duties as specified using a problem solving approach to the range of diverse issues that arise on a daily basis.

The successful candidate should be able to work well as a member of a team and be able to organize and prioritize their workload, using their own initiative. They must be fully conversant with all aspects of Microsoft packages and current office procedures and have the ability to travel independently. You need to be numerate, have excellent Organisational and communication skills.

You will be based in the Health Board Headquarters at St Cadoc’s Hospital. This is an exciting development opportunity, working within a team unique to NHS Wales.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
