Cwm Taf University Health Board is seeking to employ a Server Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the support of the Health Board’s server services provided by the team. This role will be focused on dealing with server related cyber security threats and their mitigation.

As part of a busy team, main responsibilities of this post include working within the Server Management team with a particular emphasis on Dell hardware, Microsoft Server, Hyper-v, Exchange, Enterprise Backup solutions, Citrix technologies and Enterprise Mobility. There will be a requirement to provide a high level of support to users of the diverse server infrastructure, including installation and maintenance of various server technologies and providing support through the Service Desk.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, preferably in a computer science related subjects, or have appropriate / equivalent experience. Previous experience with core Microsoft server technologies and leading application vendors essential, as well as practical experience in setting up and maintaining a diverse server estate.

Experience within an NHS environment would be advantageous.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
