Are you a newly qualified midwife or due to graduate in February 2019? If you are committed to providing outstanding care for women and have a strong desire to provide the best birth possible, maternity at Frimley Health is the perfect place to rise to that challenge.

We understand that being a newly qualified midwife is a potentially daunting experience, so we have developed a tailored 12 month preceptorship programme which helps equip you with the skills to deliver maternity care at a very high standard. The department has a dedicated practice development team who are there to support you through your journey to become a band 6 midwife.

There are also lots of training opportunities once your qualify from mentorship and leadership to maters module and newborn examination courses.

We currently care for 5500 families per year who chose to have their baby with us in a home, alongside midwife led unit and labour ward setting.
