An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC dietitian to work creatively within our autism college in Sully and our low secure service in Pontypridd.

Ideally 2years experience would be preferred, but essential is the ability to be well organised with a confidence to manage own caseload with a diverse range of needs.

Experience of catering management and training will also be a resource requirement.

Ludlow Street offers a wide range of development opportunities and dietetics is a valued part of our MDT working.


Beechwood College caters for young adults over the age of 16 years with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

In order to enhance a student's daily life skills and increase independence, incidental education is extendedbeyond the formal classrooms and into students residential living areas. Here students are supported tolearn how to cook, do their laundry, shopand develop thebudgeting skillsthat will aid them in later life.

Heatherwood -

Heatherwood Court is a purpose built hospital, with 48 beds organised into four single gender units based on clinical need, including locked rehabilitation, controlled egress services for women.

At Heatherwood Court we provide specialist mental health services, set in delightful countryside, within easy access of the M4 motorway, in close proximity to Cardiff and with good public transport links by bus and rail.

Communal living spaces are light and airy including homely lounges where patients are able to socialise with each other, watch television or listen to music. Each unit, in addition, has a separate quiet lounge which is available for periods of calm, rest or relaxation. Dining rooms are equipped with modern kitchen facilities so that patients can prepare drinks and snacks in addition to freshly cooked nutritious meals from our award-winning kitchen.

All patients have single bedrooms which can be personalised according to individual choice. Some bedrooms may be en-suite and bathrooms and shower rooms are equipped with aides and adaptations for those requiring assistance.

At Heatherwood Court there is a large purpose-built therapy and activity centre where our experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team offers an extensive range of clinical interventions and therapies.

Facilities at Heatherwood Court include therapy and group rooms, DBT rooms, arts and crafts studio, cinema, games room, coffee bar, IT and education suite, fully-staffed gym, music/sound studio and OT rehabilitation kitchen. We also aim to meet the spiritual needs of our patients who are able to make use of a multi-cultural and faith centre.
