An exciting vacancy has become available for a suitably experienced Community Health Care Support Worker to work within the Adult Community Mental Health Service in Llanelli.

The need for a full-time Band 3 Health Care Support Worker has been identified to assist the Multi Disciplinary Team in meeting the needs of those individuals accessing services at Brynmair Clinic in Llanelli

The post holder will be required to support colleagues in delivering a high standard of person centred care in accordance with Care and Treatment Plans. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to work autonomously as well as under supervision.

You will need to have experience of working with Adults with enduring Mental Health problems and experience of working within a community setting would be advantageous. You will be expected to work with a caseload of patients under the supervision of identified Care Co-ordinators from both health and social care.

The successful candidate will display a willingness to undertake further training and personal development and to engage in supervision.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
