We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time medical administrator at St Peter’s Medical Centre, Brighton.

You will be working alongside other administrators to provide an efficient service to our clinicians and patients.

You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, be comfortable working under pressure, be methodical in your approach, and pay attention to detail. You must have well-established IT skills, with proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs being essential. In addition, you will be using the SystmOne software program so previous experience of this, or the ability to master new systems quickly, is also crucial.

The ability to time-manage and prioritise workloads will be fundamental in managing general office tasks, such as processing referrals, answering telephone queries, document management, monitoring of high risk drugs, demographic data cleansing, dealing with access requests/medical reports and ensuring that safeguarding correspondence is dealt with as per practice protocols. You will also be required to arrange meetings and take minutes.

We would welcome applications from those who meet all of the essential criteria as set out in the person specification. Applicants are required to have a good standard of education at GCSE or equivalent level, and previous administrative experience would also be an advantage.
