Communications Assistant, CSH Surrey

CSH is seeking a Communications Assistant to support operational delivery of internal and external communications and engagement plans across both children’s and adults’ services, and corporate communications for CSH Surrey.

You will have relevant qualifications (minimum diploma level) plus a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a communications role. You'll be strong writer with great attention to detail, and have copywriting experience, plus design and print experience. You'll have an understanding of the media and journalism and ideally dierect experience of media relations. Digital/social media knowledge and experience is critical (twitter, websites) and ideally video production and editing. You will be comfortable with the full range of Microsoft packages and ideally have knowledge of others, such as the Adobe suite.

We need someone who is able to work on their own initiative and can be relied upon to deliver high quality work and to deliver tasks from start to finish. You will need to be excellent at multitasking and prioritising your workload, and working within a fast paced and sometimes pressured environment. Access to a car is desirable so you can support comms work across Surrey.
