Are you well organised? If so, we would love to hear from you if you are looking for a friendly, busy working environment with a variety of tasks to support the efficient running of our physiotherapy team.

You should be methodical and enjoy working with people and also used to talking to patients and GPs on the telephone.  The main tasks are making appointments from E-Referrals that have been screened by Clinicians electronically, telephone enquiries and general office duties.

You will have at least two years recent, relevant administrative/secretarial experience and knowledge of a range of secretarial procedures. Also detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office:  Word / Excel / Outlook with Intermediate IT skills that may be tested at interview.

Applicants should be educated to academic Level 3  (e.g.: A-Level, NVQ3, OCR/RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business/ Administration related subject Or to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post

PLEASE NOTE: All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

**If the position being applied for requires a DBS check to be undertaken on you, it will be a condition of your employment that you have subscribed and continue to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. New employees to the Trust are required to pay the fee for the initial DBS check (this will be deducted from their first months’ salary) and the annual subscription (£13) to the DBS Update Service. The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
