Clinical Nurse Specialist

£33,222 to £43,041 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a Paediatric Dermatology Nurse Specialist to lead our well established and dynamic team based at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. You will work closely with the dermatologists to plan and develop the service and lead the nursing team.

You will be able to autonomously run nurse led clinics and have / be working towards nurse prescribing. Your role will also ensure other team members are supported and monitored with any nurse led clinic activity they provide.

You will have community experience and appreciate the need to link in with other disciplines such as HV's practice nurses GPs and school nurses, particularly where there are safeguarding concerns or complex transition plans.

You will be able to show a commitment to teaching in house and with the wider team and be an active member of the British Dermatology Nursing Group, keeping up to date with the speciality and networking with the Paediatric dermatology sub group.

You will have basic management experience and be able to build on this, completing IPR's , initiating audits and managing the team off duty/planning and CPD.

You must hold a full valid driving license to use regularly for business purposes.
