The Trust is entering an exciting phase as it continues to expand services into a new wing on the Western Bank site, providing much improved Outpatient facilities and Inpatient Wards to deliver the high quality care expected by our patients. As part of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System, our plans place centre-stage the unique and important role the Trust has in leading change and improving standards of healthcare for Children and Young People across the wider health economy.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious individual to join our dedicated Management Accounts team, to lead in the provision of excellent financial support to a designated division.

The successful candidate will ensure that strong management accounting procedures are adhered to and work closely with the Principal Accountant to provide robust financial information in a timely manner to enable monthly internal and external reporting timetables to be met.

You are required to provide, interpret and advise upon good quality, reliable financial information in order to facilitate sound and effective Management of the Trust at all levels, including working closely with the Associate Directors of the divisions to develop balance financial plans and to monitor financial performance against them and recommend appropriate actions to address issues identified.

The ideal candidate will be a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant, who is able to demonstrate experience of effective financial management, with strong personal qualities, including communication skills and team working.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£49). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
