An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Nurse to join the Uveitis Nursing Team.

You will be part of the large Rheumatology/Ophthalmology multi-disciplinary team providing specialist care to the children and young people, (and their families), with Uveitis and other Rheumatological conditions.

The role will include providing disease and drug education to patients and their families, providing specialist education to other health care professionals and liaising with schools, GP’s and community nursing teams as needed.

You will also participate in preparing young people with Uveitis and Rheumatological conditions to transition when ready from SCH NHS Foundation Trust to adult services.

 

 

Ophthalmology experience desirable but not essential.

ENB 998 or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification is desirable.
