The Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT) at West London NHS Trust would like to invite Clinical Psychologists to apply for the Psychologist role in their Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The CATT MDT are enthusiastic about developing the psychological perspective of their service delivery to compliment the breadth of perspectives already offered including nursing, occupational therapy, physical health and fitness, health care assistants and psychiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the developing psychological services for the CATT team including complex assessment and intervention, training delivery and supervision of brief psychological interventions, the launch of the new Dialectical Behavioural Therapy informed programme, service development initiatives under the QI framework and a drive for further co-production of services with Service Users and Carers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Psychologist who is committed to the development and delivery of evidence based packages of care, delivered in line with NICE guidelines and contributing this psychological perspective to the team’s understanding and formulation of needs. You will be part of the Access and Urgent Care (AUC) Psychology Team community. We meet regularly for peer clinical and governance supervision in addition to your own individual supervision. Our AUC community currently includes Clinical Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists, Masters and Undergraduate students working together to deliver high quality psychological care.

The role will also involve liaison with other services to establish the relationship that will enable smooth pathways of care for our Service Users. This will include services such as the local IAPT services, Recovery Teams, Primary Mental Health Teams and third/charitable organisations. We are keen to invite applicants who will be interested in supporting the development of psychological services and provision within the CATT team but also through collaborative working across teams and services.
