We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working receptionist to provide support to staff at our Head Office. The main duties are to act as front-line contact and provide a general reception service, including booking rooms and taking incoming telephone calls. You will also be required to provide an administrative service to staff from various departments and to assist in the development and maintenance of efficient office procedures. Reliability, flexibility and attention to detail are all attributes the ideal candidate will possess. Effective communication skills are essential.

It is fundamental to the post to have a friendly and courteous disposition in sometimes-difficult situations. The successful applicant will have excellent IT skills and work well as part of a team.

We are recruiting to one reception post of 22.5 hours per week. Working days to be Wednesday (half day 11.30am – 5pm) and Thursday and Friday (8am – 5pm). This is a job share post.

Recruitment and Retention Premium

Recruitment and Retention Premium applies to the following posts:

Successful applicants within the staff groups above will receive -

  • £1000 upon commencement (payable in your first months’ salary) then;

  • £1000 after 6 months service subject to satisfactory completion of your probationary period.
