We have an exciting opportunity for a band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant in the Adult Ability Team in East Staffs for a 12 month contract or secondment. This is an exciting role for someone who would like to gain more experience of community working within a supportive MDT environment, or is looking for a new challenge.

 

We are a community multidisciplinary team, based in Burton on Trent, supporting people with Progressive Neurological conditions in their own homes across East Staffordshire. You would be working alongside Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, supporting assessments and implementing rehabilitation programmes.

 

The Adult Ability Team is co-located in Burton on Trent and works closely with other community services to support service users and share best practice. During the pandemic we have worked innovatively across therapies, and continue to do so, to ensure we have a service that can flex to meet changing demand to provide the best possible service to the people of East Staffordshire. We support each other in any way we can by holding regular meetings, professional development sessions and social events as guidance allows.

 

The ability to travel independently across East Staffs is essential for this role.
