The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (LPFT CAMHS) are looking to recruit 2 highly enthusiastic, motivated and organised Assistant practitioners to join Lincolnshire CAMHS, supporting future4me /YOS, these posts will based within the Lincoln or Boston CAMHS Hubs ( one in each area).

The successful applicant will preferably have experience of working with young people or adolescents in a therapeutic setting with experience of vulnerable populations being advantageous. Good communication and interpersonal skills will be essential as the post will involve supporting the assessment and treatment of young people and working closely with their families/carers as well as the professionals in regular contact with the young people.

The successful applicant will sit within LPFT CAMHS services and will offer health related services to the future4me/YOS services.

The successful applicant will be expected to support assessment and treatment of young people who are in contact with the Criminal Justice system or who are at risk of coming into contact with the Criminal Justice System, who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. They will also be expected to support young people to access physical health care and health appointments where needed. In addition they will provide guidance and consultation to future4me/YOS staff around the mental health needs of the young people in their care and will also hold a small caseload.
