Clerk Typist ~ 25 hours per week, Non-Surgical Oncology Lymphoedema Wharfedale Hospital

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Lymphoedema Team based at Wharfedale Hospital & work within an out-patient environment. This post is part-time 25 hours per week. Days across 4 days

 

This role is to support the existing departmental Secretary in the efficient delivery of the patient administrative pathway.

 

Duties will be varied butwill include:

 

General administrative duties, typing of clinical letters, dealing with telephone enquiries, documenting messages, preparation of clinics, management of patient notes, scanning of discharge documents, booking patient appointments, patient transport and interpreters.

 

The successful candidate will also be involved in the ordering, receiving and distribution of the compression garments used by the service.

 

Candidates should be a team player, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, be computer literate and be able to work under minimal supervision where required. You will be expected to adhere to established local protocols as well as Trust policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care at all times.

 

Support and guidance will be offered by both the clinical and administrative team with training opportunities provided as required.
