Salary:                        Band C, LD21 (point 13-15)*

Community Dental Services CIC are looking for an Associate Director who identifies with our values as a Social Enterprise and is passionate about providing care for those most at need.

With the support of a senior leadership team, the post holder will have accountability for the dental services in Essex and will be responsible for all aspects of the management, financial probity, clinical practices and standards of the locality to deliver the highest quality clinical care and to ensure appropriate employee development within the agreed budget. You will deliver a full operational performance profile and contribute to the ongoing development of CDS.

The post holder will maintain their clinical practice responsibilities and will work with Consultants/Specialists in Special Care and Paediatric Dentistry to ensure that the Specialist led clinical service models are fully implemented.  It is anticipated that the clinical activities will be maintained at approximately 50% of the applicant’s role and will take place predominantly in Colchester.

There will be a specific focus on the delivery of special care for adult patients and children who may require care under a general anaesthetic, sedation or other behaviour management techniques. 

Applicants must be GDC registered and have an active NHS performer number.

Applications are welcome from Specialists in Special Care or Paediatric Dentistry.
