Personal Assistant - Procurement

We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide a comprehensive, effective, and efficient administrative service to the Associate Director of Procurement and Senior Managers within our Health Procurement Liverpool (HPL) team.

Health Procurement Liverpool is a specialist procurement alliance consisting of The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital.

HPL was established in April 2021 and is hosted by The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. Each organisation is an equal partner with all organisations working together to set the strategic direction of the service.

Collectively our annual non pay expenditure is over £600 million with the Procurement function being responsible for supporting our clinical and business colleagues to ensure all goods and services are procured compliantly, deliver value to our services and most importantly our patients.

This role is perfect for an experienced personal assistant who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable. The role is diverse, and the priorities of the role can change depending on situations, the successful candidate must have the ability to be both proactive and reactive. The PA is a key role in ensuring that the needs of the Associate Director of Procurement and senior managers within the team are met.

This role requires excellent organisational skill and the ability to manage a demanding workload with tight deadlines. The post holder must be able to prioritise multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will have a high level of professionalism, be experienced within a PA role, be fully competent in professional minuting and report writing for Board and Committee meetings and have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with key contacts across HPL organisations.

The role is part time (Monday - Friday), applications are welcome for flexible working preferably over 4/5 days per week, however 3 days per week may be considered.
