We provide mental health, learning disability and autism services to a local population of over 755,000 across 45 sites, as well as specialist services for children and young people.

Due to retirement and the successful and continued growth of the pharmacy team for mental health services programme in Lincolnshire, we are very pleased to be advertising for a pharmacy assistant post within this service. This post will continue to support the inpatient, community and community transformation teams for mental health services across Lincolnshire.

You will become a fully integrated member of the pharmacy team as well as actively supporting clinical staff and patients across the trust. You will establish collaborative working relationships across your allocated area in order to deliver a high quality medicines optimisation service focused on ensuring patients get the best from their medicines, that other healthcare professionals are adequately informed and skilled to be able to manage the use of medicines correctly, safely and cost effectively, and that channels of communication between healthcare settings are seamless.

This post will provide the perfect opportunity for the right candidate to develop their knowledge, clinical and service development skills in establishing cross-boundary working with multiple agencies that are involved in patient-care.

You will be part of an expanding Pharmacy Team that is highly regarded within the organisation and is looking forward to exciting times ahead. EPMA implementation has gone live, and will become fully embedded in practice across the Trust in the coming year.

We offer 24-hour services within our Inpatient, Crisis and SPA teams, if you are successfully appointed to posts in these areas or others that might have specified, you will be required to work unsociable hours and shift patterns.
