Philanthropy and Partnerships Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning Fundraising Team at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity. The newly created Philanthropy and Partnerships Executive will join our recently established Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) team to help us develop and nurture a range of high-value corporate and philanthropic relationships. Together, we will significantly increase our high-value income in support of the world leading research, treatment, and care that takes place across our hospitals in areas such as: childhood cancer, rare diseases, neonatal and maternal health, children and young people’s mental health, and critical care.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Executive will be directly responsible for: providing excellent customer service and relationship management to our mid-level corporate, trust and individual donors; supporting the deliver of Charity of the Year activities; project managing key projects and events throughout the year; and providing administrative support to the wider P&P team.

The ideal candidate will be a confident team player with strong planning and communication skills (both verbally and in writing) ideally gained within a fundraising or customer service environment. They will be a self-starter, with strong time management skills and a motivation to work towards and achieve targets. A desire to work for the NHS and an understanding of why donors support hospital-based charities will also be important.
