The NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (NWCCG) is a clinically-led NHS organisation, responsible for commissioning (planning and purchasing) integrated health and social care for the people of Norfolk and Waveney.

Are

you ready to develop new skills and broaden your NHS knowledge and support delivery of a new contract supporting the general practice workforce in Norfolk and Waveney?

 

Norfolk and Waveney CCG are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to learn and broaden their knowledge and experience working in a small team responsible for providing training, education and professional development programmes to the primary care workforce. This role is being offered as either a secondment opportunity or on a fixed term contract to 30 June 2023.

 

You will have excellent communication skills and experience in developing and managing relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders both locally in Norfolk and Waveney and across the NHS in the East of England. You will be able to work under pressure, be flexible and demonstrate good evidence of successfully delivering a wide range of projects.

 

It is an exciting time to take up this role to support the mobilisation of a new Primary Care ICS Level Training Hub contract with Health Education England for primary care workforce and education. The individual will be responsible for operational delivery of training and education programmes on a day to day basis and will work closely with colleagues in the team and in the ICS workforce team to ensure the new contract is successfully implemented, delivers the key aims and objectives and for ensuring performance indicators are being met.

Hybrid Working

The CCG operates a flexible approach to working. It is expected that our staff will work from a combination of home and office (where possible). For staff designated in a hybrid role they should have a safe and suitable place to work with Broadband access and space for a desk, chair and monitors. At interview a discussion will take place between the recruiting manager and the candidate to ensure they are clear on what is expected.
