We are recruiting accredited counsellors (BACP, NCS, UKCP, BPS or NACC) with a qualification in Person-Centred experiential counselling for depression for a band 7 counselling role within our successful IAPT talking therapies team.

About the role
You will join an established, experienced and well supported team working to maintain DHC Talking Therapies excellent reputation within our local Surrey catchment areas. We are looking to recruit good quality Band 7 Counsellors to work as part of our expanding IAPT Talking Therapy service, delivering appointments to our Surrey clients. You will be enthusiastic, experienced, hard-working and have a genuine interest in helping clients with moderate to severe depression for which PCE-CfD is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

About you
Working from home within our IAPT service, which includes both virtual and on-site therapists, you will be providing high intensity interventions, for which you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Professional accreditation with BACP, NCS, UKCP, BPS or NACC
  • Successfully completed PE CfD training - If you do not have this training, we would still love to hear from you as we can provide this training in our band 6 role.
  • Evidence of working with people who have presented with mental health difficulties, preferably in primary care.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and to deliver required performance indicators.
  • Self-motivated with ability and tools to provide a confidential, safe, professional working environment to clients at all times.
