Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners

We are looking to recruit Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join our busy and expanding IAPT service; individuals that strive to innovate and want to make a real difference through the work they do.

This post attracts an additional 15% 'golden handshake' each year for two years; 7.5% on joining with us, 7.5% after 12 months, and then two further payments of 7.5% in six month intervals. This is in addition to the 5% fringe HCAS payment.

Inclusion Thurrock are is a busy IAPT Primary Care Mental Health service based in Thurrock; next to the train staition and close to the shops. Services are via a mixed delivery of remote, and in-person from our therapy rooms in Thurrock Health Centre and from a range of community venues across Thurrock.

Working as part of a motivated, cohesive and well-supported clinical team, the post holder will be an experienced PWP with a willingness and ability to work well remotely, and also in and around Thurrock.

Clinicians are well resourced with IT and communications equipment. The service uses the IAPTus patient administration system and operates on a paperless basis. Regular training is provided to ensure good quality professional development.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, service users and members of the public, respect individual rights to confidentiality, and complete tasks within given deadlines.

The successful applicants will have a relevant PWP qualification and registration with BPS or BABCP (as per national requirements). An excellent working knowledge of IAPT Step 2 treatment protocols is essential. Experience of group work, or willingness to learn, would be an advantage.
