We are seeking a full time Intelligence Analyst to join our innovative and responsive Dorset Intelligence and Insight Service (DiiS). This is an exciting opportunity to join a function that plays a significant role in ensuring we shape and monitor our services to meet the evolving new ways of commissioning for the population of Dorset.
This role represents an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development with a huge scope to make a difference to the way we deliver heath and care services in Dorset and to significantly impact outcomes for patients.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a flexible, pro-active and responsive approach combined with the resilience to deal with shifting priorities and demands. The ability to quickly assimilate complex and/or conflicting information and determine appropriate action is essential. Knowledge of NHS Data and information systems would be an advantage, however self-directed and management supported learning and training will be provided.
An innovative and intrepid approach to the use of established and emerging technology is required to ensure that the service remains responsive to the needs of the Intergragted Care System (ICS) and its stakeholders
The Dorset Intelligence and Insight Service includes information and performance analytics, data modelling, data science, population health management and support to contracting and commissioning, which combined, provide business intelligence support to NHS Dorset Intergrated Care System.
This post will be based at our Headquarters in either Dorchester or Poole, however we operate a hybrid working model incuding working from home. You will require work and travel both in and out of county, working Monday to Friday
NHS Dorset will work with others to:
Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare
Tackle inequalities in outcome and access
Enhance productivity and value for money
Help the NHS deliver broader social and economic development, particularly post the COVID-19 pandemic
