We are looking for an exceptional nurse with excellent skills and knowledge to join the Cancer Services team,based at our North Devon Site, in this new and exciting role as Lead Gynaeoncology Clinical Nurse Specialist, 30 hours per week.

The B8a Lead Gynaeoncology Clinical Nurse Specialist will lead a small team including a B7 Gynaeoncology Clinical Nurse Specialist and a B4 Assistant Practitioner and will work closely with Gynaecologists and Gynaeoncologists, Medical and Clinical Oncologists, Seamoor Unit Nursing staff, The Fern Centre Cancer and Well Being Centre staff, as well as the wider Cancer Services team, in order to provide excellent holistic, evidence based care, to patients living with and beyond a gynaecological cancer daignosis.

The successful candidate will need to: have a passion for providing first class, evidence based care; have strong leadership, communication, time management and prioritisation skills; be an independent precriber and competent in physical assessment or willing to work towards; be a strong patient advocate; be able to work collaboratively providing education and specialist advice to colleagues in secondary and primary care and much more.
