DHC Talking Therapies is a successful, dynamic and growing service and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team in a Trainee CBT therapist role. Practitioners will be enrolled on the one year full-time IAPT Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Intervention (CBT) based at the University of Surrey. Further information about the course can be found on the University of Surrey PGDip website Trainees have a mixture of taught university days (usually 3 days), in service training and hold a clinical caseload. We pride ourselves on providing a great training experience with the aim of supporting you to become a great therapist, building your career (with many development opportunities) with us. 

We are looking for experienced clinicians who want to train and deliver high quality Cognitive Bahavioural therapy. Candidates must be eligible to enrol on the IAPT Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Intervention (CBT) course so must either hold a core profession (OT, Nurse, Social Worker etc) or be eligible via the KSA route. 

We have an excellent reputation for a quality and well run service with great recovery rates as well as great Clinical supervision, CPD and career opportunities. 

Our therapists generally work within a small geographical area. Our therapists all have the opportunity to develop their skills in delivering therapy via a range of modes including video and face to face. 

You will be enthusiastic, hard-working and have a genuine interest in helping clients. 

The DHC Talking Therapies Service provides a range of psychological therapies to people across Surrey.
