The PPSA has an exciting opportunity to join its team as a Procurement Projects Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with strong administration and communication skills with an eye for detail. This is a key role supporting the PPSA team so we are looking for someone who is conscientious, well organised who can also work independently to achieve deadlines.

The Procurement Projects Assistant is an important administrative role in supporting the PPSA to deliver a range of procurement projects and manage its portfolio of contracts. The role is primarily responsible in providing day to day support to the PPSA and to assist the PPSA Category Managers on the delivery of procurement activities including tendering and ongoing contract management.

We are a dynamic NHS procurement organisation, established by the NHS for the NHS, providing an integrated, collaborative procurement and commercial service to drive efficiencies across a number of NHS organisations.

Working across multi-organisations, it is anticipated that the successful applicant will be based in Exeter (although there could be flexibility locally for the right candidate) with an opportunity for some home working.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: Band 3 - £20,330 to £21,777 per annum
