The NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (NWCCG) is a clinically-led NHS organisation, responsible for commissioning (planning and purchasing) integrated health and social care for the people of Norfolk and Waveney.

Our main offices are based at Lakeside 400, Broadland Business Park, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, however we have a local office for the East of the region based in Beccles and another in the West of the region based in King’s Lynn, therefore travel across the Norfolk and Waveney footprint as well as out of county is required according to where the providers are situated.

We are looking for a dynamic Community Finance Manager to join the Finance team within the Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Working closely with community health commissioners and provider partners, you could play a key role in the long term financial and operational planning for community service improvements across Norfolk and Waveney. Through the development of timely and accurate business partnering the post holder will play a vital role in co-ordinating the financial strategy for the CCG, cutting across NHS, non-NHS, voluntary and local authority providers.

The post holder will provide high quality financial support to the CCGs Community Commissioning colleagues, as well as manage a small team to ensure the robust preparedness of the management accounts and NHS England and Improvement reporting requirements.

As a finance professional you will be proactive with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently and concisely with various teams within the CCG, providers and external stakeholders; with strong analytical skills, adaptability and resourcefulness being essential qualities; as well as the ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and to meet tight deadlines.

Hybrid Working

The CCG operates a flexible approach to working. It is expected that our staff will work from a combination of home and office (where possible). For staff designated in a hybrid role they should have a safe and suitable place to work with Broadband access and space for a desk, chair and monitors. At interview a discussion will take place between the recruiting manager and the candidate to ensure they are clear on what is expected.
