Barnsley Hospital invites enthusiastic and capable doctors at IM3+ level to apply for the above post in our Medical directorate and Medical Education. The successful applicant will be appointed on a fixed term contract for 12 months.


This post does not attract educational approval from Health Education England, but the successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in local teaching/ training, have educational supervision and protected Medical Education time to further an interest in med ed.

Standard check: £18.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = deduction from salary as a one off payment.


Enhanced check: £38.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from first month’s salary, then deduction from salary over the following three months.
