Locum Consultant working as General Practitioner

Urgent and Emergency Care

 

The Emergency Department at Barnsley Hospitals has an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner, working in a Locum Consultant capacity to join the team based in the Emergency Department. You will join us on a full time, part time, permanent or bank basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.

 

During our opening hours from 10am to 10pm, 7 days a week we assess and treat or refer acute presentations with minor injuries and minor illness for all ages of patients. Our aim is to ensure that we provide a high standard of clinical care to all our patients, in timely safe environment.

 

All applicants should be fully registered with the General Medical Council, hold a Licence to Practise and be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at the date of interview.

 

This is a full time, part time, permanent OR Bank post and applicants who would like to work flexibly or on a job share basis would also be considered.

Standard Check: £18.00 + Administration cost of £3.69 = deduction from salary as a one off payment

Enhanced Check: £38.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from 1stmonths salary, then deduction from salary over following 3 months.
