Clinical (Echo) Administration Team Leader
Non Invasive, Cardiac Physiology

37.5 Hours per week

Do you want to work in a friendly and supportive team? Do you think you have the skills both technically and experience of dealing with patients to be able to provide world class service? This role would involve you working with our excellent team within Echocardiography to ensure an excellent standard of care is delivered to all our patients. You will oversee and manage the administration of the Echocardiography department to ensure a fully functional service is delivered that meets all its aspired objectives.

Main duties:

Act as a line manager supporting staff with rota, sickness, annual leave etc. adhering to trust protocols and guidance.

  • Manage bookings of Echocardiograms and ensure good use of rooms and staffing to optimise the patient experience and waiting times.
  • Cross covering and supporting the Cardiac Rhythm management service.
  • Actively manage projects and facilitate discussions about changes to working practices within the echocardiography team at Royal Papworth Hospital.
  • Communicate routinely with a variety of individuals throughout the Trust and disseminate information with the team.

This role will be supported with internal and external courses to provide personal development for individuals who would like to specialise in their role.
