The Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Barnsley Hospital to appoint a Clinical Team Lead SLT for adults and children with voice difficulties, head and neck cancer and adults with dysphagia of ENT origin. You will be a highly competent, knowledgeable and visible leader within our hospital and will lead by example and inspire the teams to deliver exemplary care. The successful candidate will lead, organise and deliver a highly specialist service to Barnsley Hospital for adults and children and develop, provide and participate in the training and support of other professionals working within the specialist client groups.

Who we are looking for

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic to individual who is an expert in SLT/ENT with considerable experience at Band 6 who can take a lead role in promoting clinical excellence through their practice, participating in evidence-based practice and through facilitating, educating, supervising, supporting and developing both registrants and non-registered staff on a daily basis. You will have high standards and be enthusiastic about participating in change with a positive attitude towards working in different ways. You must understand resource management, health and safety, risk and quality issues and service delivery requirements.

Enhanced Check:£38.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from 1st months’ salary, then deduction from salary over following 3 months.
