Are you passionate about NHS Physio care but looking for a challenge outside of NHS trusts? Do you want to progress as an FCP?  We are offering a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the Dorking Primary Care Network (PCN) and DHC Outpatient services, delivering great patient care whilst being part of a dynamic, forward thinking organisation. We are also offering the opportunity to train as an FCP, via the University route, if required. 

DHC is a GP Federation, representing 100,000 patients providing a wide range of quality healthcare services including Elective care, Talking Therapies, Community healthcare and Primary care across Surrey. We are registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and we are an accredited AQP (Any Qualified Provider). DHC is working at the centre of the local health system to evolve and deliver integrated care and that requires strong partnerships with many organisations. In all of our services, we aim to put the patient at the centre of their care, make sure our services are easy to access by local patients and reduce waiting times for patients

A “can-do” attitude is a vital asset at DHC and we are looking for like-minded individuals to work with us who share the same approach and work ethic.

GP practices have been brought together into Primary Care Networks (or PCNs) to offer services in the local community. There are three Primary Care Networks as part of the DHC Federation, Dorking PCN, Redhill Phoenix PCN and South Tandridge PCN. PCN’s are critical to the changing NHS and are the focal point of all locally developed planning and service delivery.


This is a mixed role, giving job variety.

  • Working as part of our newly formed Physiotherapy team, delivering high quality First Contact Physio appointments to our Dorking PCN patients
  • Delivering high class physiotherapy treatment to people who have been referred from our Outpatient services

You will be closely supported by your Primary care colleagues including GP’s, as well as working closely with our outpatient consultants/ teams, including experts in the MSK an pain fields. This provides great opportunities for skills development in a highly supportive environment.

This is a full time role.

The person

The successful candidate will need to be Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professional Council and can demonstrate working at Level 7 [within the ACP framework] capability in MSK related areas of practice or equivalent (such as advanced assessment diagnosis and treatment) have proven physiotherapy experience and achieved. There may be opportunity to work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist, working with outpatient referrals, whilst working towards achieving Level 7 in the ACP framework- opportunity for funded training.
