Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies site (IAPT) and vacancies have arisen for a number of Trainee CBT therapists within the service. Posts are being recruited to in Skegness, Grantham, Lincoln and Spalding and further opportunities may become available across Lincolnshire – candidates will be asked for their preference at interview.

The successful applicants will work in the steps2change service whilst also attending Nottingham University for 2 days per week to study for a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The Service provides an evidence based stepped care model for the treatment of people with mild to moderate common mental health problems (e.g. anxiety and depression)

The successful Trainee CBT therapists will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support for people in the self-management of their common mental health problems through NICE recommended treatment protocols whilst studying to attain the CBT qualification at Nottingham University.

Regular management and clinical supervision will be provided by qualified supervisors. The service has a strong commitment towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD), staff wellbeing and providing quality services. Successful candidates will be asked to sign a contract binding them to work for the Trust for 2 years post-qualification.
The interview is a joint process with Nottingham University. Candidates must be available to start the course on 26th September 2022 and must be prepared to travel to the University where required.
