About the role:
If you have an enviable understanding of modern IS/IT issues and a passion for getting all aspects of the IT Service Management lifecycle spot on, our Group Services Digital, Data and Technology Services (DDTS) team has the perfect role for you. Taking ownership of the strategic development of a Service Management approach, you’ll work closely with DDTS senior leadership colleagues, and autonomously too. Your aim? To ensure consistency in the way IT services are introduced, transitioned and managed.
But that’s not all.
We’ll also rely on you to ensure ITIL process ownership is in place and Service Management Process Maturity regular assessed, working where necessary with process owners to define and implement improvement action plans. Managing a Service Portfolio and working with Solutions Architecture and other DDTS colleagues to significantly reduce the number of IT services and ensure suitable documentation is in place will be important too. And, when it comes to defining and implementing a single IT services document repository and Service Management capability strategy or driving consistent and regular review policies, again, we’ll count on you.

This vital leadership role would be ideal for a flexible individual with a high degree of autonomy and proven experience of managing the full IT service management lifecycle.
