This role is responsible for providing clinical support to the Consultants and Medical Staff of DHC.
The successful applicant would cover a wide variety of clinic specialities, gaining experience in many areas. They will also hold nurse led clinics, such as conducting vision tests, taking blood pressures, applying holter cardiac monitoring devices and height and weight measurements.
Our regular hours of work could be between 0745 and 2145 Monday to Friday and Saturday 0800-1500. Saturday shifts are shared within the nursing team and it is likely that the successful candidate would be required to work 1 weekend in 4. The nursing team consists of 7 people, with a mixture of registered nurses and healthcare assistants.
We hold clinics across 3 locations and ability to drive and to have your own means of transportation would be highly desirable.
Skills required – attention to detail, computer literacy, ability to maintain confidentiality, confidence to speak up when acting as a chaperone, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, ability to remain calm under pressure. Can do attitude and effective team worker.
