Collaborative Procurement Partnership is excited to offer apprenticeship opportunities in a diverse world of procurement and category management.

You will join us in August 2022 with a structured learning programme to follow for 2 years, provided by a prestigious, nationally recognised training provider, concluding with an independent End Point Assessment. You must be available for interviews in the last 2 weeks of June 2022 and for enrolment activities in July 2022.

The Role

You will work as a Procurement Apprentice in one of our contracting teams liaising with suppliers, analysing purchasing data, supporting tender processes and working closely with a team of expert buyers.

Successful candidates will study for the Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship which includes day release to attend a specialist study centre in Sheffield.

In addition to your studies, on the-job learning will offer an enriched learning experience in the working world of procurement. This will require the successful candidate to provide exceptional administrative support to our Procurement Specialists and Category Managers, enabling them to deliver a first-class service to the NHS and provide creative, cost-effective solutions for their toughest challenges.

Requirements

  • At least 5 GCSEs at grades 9 – 4 (former A* - C) including Maths and English.
  • Educated to ‘A’ Level standard and/or qualification by experience of working in a commercial environment.
  • A confident, articulate, and engaging manner.
  • Strong IT skills with excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills are vital in providing a high standard of service to our suppliers and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude to learning and developing new skills is a must.
  • A friendly, approachable personality.

If you currently hold work experience or a degree in a similar field and feel these skills are transferrable to this role, we would love to hear from you, although this is not essential as full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
